Togolese health ministry Tuesday launched a national immuniz ation campaign against measles in Moretan, in the northern part of the country. The campaign, ending Monday, is to vaccinate about one million children under fi ve years.
Tuberculosis patients are, however, excluded from the exercise.The measles immunization will be combined to the administration of vitamin A and Abendazole to spur growth and de-worm children.
The minIstry plans to cover 95 per cent of those that require vaccination.
